Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Just Work mobile application and related services (the "Service"), operated by Regenerator Online ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Just Work is a mobile application that helps tradespeople, freelancers and small businesses track job profitability. The Service includes job and project tracking, cost and income recording, receipt scanning and data extraction, labour and worker management, financial reporting and export, and data sync and backup.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service.

4. Your account

You create an account using your phone number via Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and the devices used to access it. You agree to provide accurate and current information when setting up your profile. If you become aware of any unauthorised use, contact us immediately at privacy@usejustwork.com.

5. Subscription tiers and billing

The Service is available in the following tiers:

Feature limits for each tier are described within the app. We may adjust tier limits from time to time; material changes will be communicated in advance.

Paid subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All billing, renewals, cancellations and refunds are governed by the respective store's terms and policies. We do not directly process payments or store your payment information.

We may change subscription prices from time to time. Price changes for existing subscribers are handled by the app stores, which may require your consent depending on the size of the increase. Annual subscriptions are billed as a single upfront payment for 12 months of access.

7. Your data and content

All job data, financial records, receipt images and other content you create or upload through the Service ("Your Content") remains yours. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process, sync and back up Your Content for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This includes:

This licence continues for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we will delete Your Content in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Anonymised aggregate data that has already been created may be retained as it contains no personal data.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, features, branding, logos and documentation, is owned by Regenerator Online and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as described here.

If you provide feedback, suggestions or ideas about the Service, we may use them without any obligation to you.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that data extracted from receipt scans will be accurate (you should always review extracted data), or that financial calculations are suitable for tax, legal or accounting purposes.

Just Work is a job tracking tool, not accounting software. You are responsible for verifying all financial data and should consult a qualified accountant or tax adviser for formal financial reporting.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater. We are not liable for any loss or corruption of data.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time through the app settings. Active subscriptions should be cancelled through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store before deleting your account.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Where possible, we will give you reasonable notice and the opportunity to export your data before termination.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. General provisions

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Regenerator Online regarding the Service. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
